SHRI SHRI DHANANJAY DAS KATHIA BABA CHARITABLE TRUST has been established in the year 2008 and registered under Indian Registration Act 1908. The official address of the trust is at Kathia Baba Ashram, P.O. Sukhchar, P.S. Khardah, Dist. 24 Parganas (North), West Bengal-743179. From the very beginning, the trust has been involved in various socio-cultural activities throughout the country. Under its country wide charitable activities the trust has established Swami Dhananjoy Das Kathia Baba Missiion School (H.S. +2 Stage) at Agartala which is affiliated to C.B.S.E. The members of the trust are experienced in the school education as well as in higher education. In view to promote the higher education the trust has established a higher education institute at West Bhubanban, Agartala in the name of Swami Dhananjoy Das Kathia Baba Mission College which is affiliated to Tripura University. The college has started its journey in the year 2022 with the five subjects of Bachelor of Arts Programme. The subjects are English, Bengali, Education, Political Science and History. In coming years it will introduce various programmes of Science, Arts and commerce along with the professional and technical courses.

At present the academic and administrative activities of the college is going on in its well furnished City Campus at Math Chawmuhani, Agartala.

Swami Dhananjoy Das Kathia Baba Mission College is a dream initiative by our founder, renowned philosopher & spiritual leader Dr. Brindaban Bihari Das. It is one of the milestones being achieved in the soil of Tripura in order to establish a higher education institution for the all-round development of the youths of the state as well as the entire North-Eastern region. His tireless efforts & constant support has made this college a success in the year 2022. This college is managed by Shri Shri Dhananjoy Das Kathia Baba Charitable Trust, a public religion Charitable Trust, has its registered office at Kolkata & has set up this college at West Bhubanban , Tripura West as its main campus & City campus at 10,Jail Rd., Mathchowmuhani, Agartala, Tripura West under the affiliation of Tripura Central University & being implemented by the College Admission Committee.

The college is located in a green environment at Main Campus in West Bhubanban & City Campus at 10, Jail Road Mathchowmuhani, Agartala, West Tripura. Admission is made strictly in accordance with the norms of Tripura University (Central University) and is implemented by the College Admission Committee.

In light of the overarching vision of the founder, the primary objective of SDDKBMC is to impart liberal education pervaded by the universal principles with spiritual & moral values based on the life and teaching of Indian philosophers. While imparting value-based education, the college endeavors to equip the students to achieve overall success in life in the modern, ever-changing competitive world. It also aims at enhancing the mental, physical, spiritual, personal and professional capability of the students and imparting them with relevant skills, employability and entrepreneurial mindset with the ultimate objective of serving our nation.

During the academic year 2022-23, the college has started its journey of under-graduate (UG) courses with the selected subjects of Arts stream. In the near future, the college will start various professional and skill-based courses. In the coming years it will start various Degree, Diploma and Certificate courses under general and professional programmes.
