PLANS & POLICIES

Plan and policies of the college are defined under three heads: GOALS, OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

  • Goals: The broad intentions we expect to accomplish during the plan period.
  • Objectives: The actions we expect to accomplish for each strategic goal.
  • Activities: The tasks to be carried out by committees and departments.

OUR PROCESS

  • The founder of the college is the renowned philosopher and spiritual leader of Asian continent His Holiness Dr. Brindaban Bihari Das Kathia Baba. It is governed and managed under the Management of Swami Dhananjoy Das Charitable Trust, India. The college offers 5 UG programmes in Arts Subjects. As of now 10 teaching staff, 5 non teaching staff, one librarian and one physical education faculty are working in the college. Presently the college has started its academic activities in its City Campus at Math Chowmuhani, Agartala which will be shifted to its permanent campus at West Bhubanban, Agartala. The building constructions for academic and administrative activities are going on in a rapid manner. Strategic Action Plan for the upcoming years has been made in the culmination of the diligent and focused efforts taken up by the strategic plan committee supported by the inputs under the guidance of the Founder Dr. Brindaban Bihari Das Kathia Baba. His guidance and advices are being forwarded by the Director Dr. Sujit Roy to the Principal Dr. Dilip Nath to fulfill the dreams. This plan document is expected to motivate and ignite the minds of our faculty members and staff. The vision document may undergo some changes in the course of time, but it will provide us with an idea of the position where we would be in the coming years.
  • Within the next five year, the College has to introduce total 25 programmes all total with 4000 students strength.
  • The proposed Bachelor Programmes are English, Bengali, Education, Political Science, History, Geography, Economics, Botany, Zoology, Human Physiology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Commerce, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Business Administration, B. P. Ed, B.Ed., BA LLB, Nursing, Dialysis, Physiotherapy, BCA, Mass Com, Rural Management, Tourism, Agroforestry & Bio diversity, Elective along with the other outcome based and professional courses.
  • Moreover, the students will be given options to join the Diploma/ Advance Diploma level courses in career oriented Skill development add-on programme under various Sector Skill Councils of Skilling India Programme. Some of the Adds-On Skill Development courses as per list of QP-NOS which can be offered during 2nd and 3rd year of the Degree Courses. One class of 1.5 hours duration shall be allotted daily at the end of regular classes.
  • On career counseling and enhancement, the college will arrange coaching programmes for the students for competitive examinations.

INFRASTRUCTURE

At present the academic and administrative activities of the college is going on in its well furnished City Campus at Math Chawmuhani, Agartala. The building construction is going on in its main campus at West Bhubanban, Agartala and the college will be shifted very soon there. The main campus is a very vast area with green environment. All the modern facilities for teaching learning process will be available there.
