CELEBRATION OF TEACHERS’ DAY 2022

Teacher’s day is the day when teachers celebrate and appreciate the vocation in which they are dealing upon. As, this day, the 5th of September is indelible for the birth anniversary of Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the former Vice President of India, a dedicated educator and philosopher. We pay our respect and reverence towards the ones, who had nurtured us with their base of knowledge & expertise. The teachers have always encouraged and enlightened the young hearts and minds to carry on the beautiful heritage of teaching.

With this noble thought and regard in their hearts, the College organized one-day ceremonial programme to show their affection towards their teachers who have always enlightened their path. The guests for the event were the distinguished academicians Shri N.C Sharma, Director of Higher Education, Govt of Tripura; Prof. Rabindranath Das Shastri, Founder and Ex-Principal of RamthakurCollege; Smt. Gitapriya Bhattacharjee, Ex Headmistress of Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan along with Press Reporters.

The programme begun with the lighting of lamp. TheHonourable Guests and entire College Fraternity were being felicitated and mementos were offered to the distinguished Guests. The session commenced with the welcome speech by Shri Sujit Roy, Director of the College. Prof. Rabindranath Das Shastri, shared his ideologies related to Saint Kathia Baba and his fraternity with special reference to Nimbarka philosophy. Smt. Gitapriya Bhattacharjee also shared an extensive anecdote based on her personal experience, which implied a moral message of the bonding between teacher and student. Shri N.C Sharma extended sincere gratitude in his speech about the college and highlighted about the heights and growth to be achieved in the long run by the Institution through quality education. Dr.AparajitaModak, Vice Principal explained the essence of Teachers’ Day and the role of teachers in strengthening the College.
