“Vidya Dharmena Sobhate”, it envisions “Knowledge harmonized with religion becomes pious”. In this context, Swami Dhananjoy Das Kathia Baba Mission College celebrated Akshaya Tritiya, on 24th April 2023. The programme commenced with floral tribute to the Founder of this College, Dr. Brindaban Bihari Das Kathia Babaji Maharaj by the faculty members & students, followed by Guru Vandana by the students. An introductory speech on the significance of Akshaya Tritiya & its implication in this modern age with special reference to student life was given by the Vice Principal, Dr. Aparajita Modak. Then an interactive session was conducted among the faculty members & students on Education & Spiritualism. Students were enlightened through this discussion & shared their views on this theme. The mythological essence of this day was highlighted in the speech of Dr. Sadhan Das, faculty of Bengali Department. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Sri. Amalesh Ranjan Chakraborty, faculty of Education Department.
